New Schedule Beginning November 15th

The Kern County Library has partnered up with Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) to launch Story Tours, a new bookmobile service that will bring library services to communities across Kern County through 2021. This partnership is funded by the Virginia & Alfred Harrell Foundation.

MondaysEast Kern

  • 10:30-11am – Mojave Branch Library
  • 11:15am-12pm – Mojave Headstart at 1940 Inyo Street
  • 1pm- 2pm – California City Branch Library
  • 3pm-3:30pm – Boron Park

TuesdaysEast Bakersfield

  • 9:30am-10am – Baker Branch Library
  • 10:30am-11:15am – Heritage Park
  • 12:15pm-1pm – Northeast Branch Library
  • 1:15pm-1:45pm – Sterling Headstart at 3000 Sterling Road
  • 2:15pm-3pm – Pete Parra Headstart at 1825 Celiz Drive
  • 3:15pm-3:45pm – Friendship House
  • 4pm-5pm – David Nelson Pocket Park

WednesdaysWest Kern

  • 9:30am-12pm – Lost Hills at Wonderful Academy
  • 12:30pm-2pm – Lost Hills Elementary
