Kicks Off on Monday, May 3

The Kern County Library has partnered up with Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) to launch Story Tours, a new bookmobile service that will bring library services to communities across Kern County through 2021. This partnership is funded by the Virginia & Alfred Harrell Foundation.

Bookmobile Stops

 The bookmobile will not be in service on Tuesday, October 19th and Tuesday, October 26th through Thursday, October 28th. We apologize for this inconvenience.

  • 1-2pm – California City Branch Library
  • 3-4pm – Boron Park

TuesdaysEast Bakersfield

  • 12-12:45pm – Casa Loma Park
  • 1-1:45pm – Pioneer Park
  • 2-3pm – Northeast Branch Library
