Meals are for children, ages 2-18, and must be present. Meals are FREE.

If you attended lunch at the Arvin, Delano, or Wasco Branch Libraries- we want to hear from YOU!
Join us for a focus group to talk about your experience with Lunch at the Library this summer and receive a packed goodie bag full of some incredible cooking necessities!
There will be three in-person sessions and one virtual session via Zoom. Online registration is required for the Virtual session, in order to receive the Zoom link. In- Person participants can register via the link below, or by speaking with their local librarian staff.

Child Food Programs/ Programas de Almentación Infantil
“The Women, Infants, and Children Program, also known as WIC, is a nutrition education program. WIC helps pregnant women, women who just had a baby, and children up to age 5 eat well, be active, and stay healthy. WIC welcomes dads, grandparents, foster parents, or guardians who care for eligible children. WIC services are provided at no cost to you. Newly pregnant women, including military and migrant families, are encouraged to apply!” (CAPK Program)

Senior Food Programs/ Programas de Alimentos para Personas Mayores
These home-delivered meals are available to persons 60 years or older who are homebound (by reason of illness, incapacitation, disability or isolation) and unable to leave their homes to participate in the congregate meals. (Kern County, Senior Nutrition)
Provides a food sack twice a month to registered seniors. Seniors can register at site with one-time $2 registration fee.
