Kern County Library offers a variety of ways to ask for assistance from your Librarians:

	NEW! Use the Ask a Librarian Chat for live communication with a Kern County Library reference librarian. The chat is available Monday through Saturday from 12 to 5.
	Ask us a question by phone. Call the Beale Memorial Library Reference Desk at (661) 868-0770 during the Library's regular business hours.
	Ask us a question via email. Replies will be sent within two business days (Monday - Saturday). Questions about local history, obituary searches, or other research questions will have a varying response time.
	Ask a question via live web-based chat, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. AskNow lets you ask questions and get answers, in real time, from live reference staff from libraries here and across the country.
