Paws to Read: 2014 Summer Reading Program

June - July, 2014

We invite children and their families to participate in the Summer Reading Program. Cultivate a child's inherent curiosity through books, technology, and the rich variety of programs offered. Enjoy over 300 FREE events for children, teens, & adults countywide, such as reptile & magic shows, storytimes, arts & crafts, and much more! The Summer Reading Program is available at ALL Kern County Library locations.

How to Participate in the Summer Reading Program: (Sign up at any Kern County Library location.)

Reading Record/Logs: Children, Teen, & Adult

Reading Lists/Title Suggestions: Children, Teen, & Adult

1. Read 10 books, magazines, graphic novels, audiobooks, or eBooks.
2. Record your titles on a Reading Record & have parent sign it.
3. Return your signed Reading Record to the library by Thursday, July 31, 2014 and receive a free paperback book provided by the Friends of the Kern County Library, Inc.
